So you’ve returned from shopping empty handed – spent a day pounding the pavements, hot and bothered in changing rooms, horrified by your complexion in the mirrors and harsh lighting, and generally wondering why on earth you bothered?

You’re not alone. Most of my customers have experienced these feelings at one time or another. You’ve perhaps gone into a new shop and felt intimidated by the 19 year old assistant who couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge your presence. Perhaps you’ve tried on a different style, but didn’t feel confident enough to move from the safe style you usually buy which is almost now like your “uniform”. Or perhaps you felt great in the shop when you tried it on, but when you got home changed your mind so returned it the next day. What you really needed was a second opinion, or someone to make a style suggestion, but throughout the day it has been a struggle to find an objective voice.

At some stage or another you’ve all set out on a shopping trip with high hopes and returned disappointed. This is where your misery ends!

As your shopping companion I will accompany you to provide advice on style and colour, and give an honest unbiased opinion. I will challenge whether you really need the item, whether it goes with anything you’ve already got, or whether it’s appropriate for your particular lifestyle. I will also take you away from your comfort zone and suggest new shops, designs and styles for you to try.

Whether you are on a quest for a special occasion outfit or simply after those long-desired-for perfect jeans, I bring my expert knowledge of manufacture and cutting techniques, can advise whether an item can be altered successfully, and offer an unbiased opinion.

What’s more, you don’t even need to buy. Many customers prefer to use the shopping trip to pick my brains, see how I shop and venture into new territory.
